Rooftop refuge in Rethymno
The staff greeted us warmly. The rooftop pool became our daily haven, offering fine views and refreshing vibes after exploring Rethymno's old town, just a five-minute stroll away.
The room cleaning was less frequent than expected, occurring every three days, and we faced a minor inconvenience with street noise filtering into our room at night. While enjoyable, the hotel's dining options could use a bit more variety, especially for vegetarians.

There were climate control, a safe, and multi-channel television in the room, thoroughly enjoyed that. We had breads, cereal, pastries, and fruit for breakfast and it was outstanding. Helpful staff, gave a lot of information.

The experience wasn't without its drawbacks. The pool felt cluttered with local crowds, and I encountered some cleanliness issues in the room, including mildew odors that lingered. Breakfast left much to be desired. The variety was limited-especially for dietary needs-and the food often lacked quality. The bathroom was poorly designed, with cramped fittings. Given these issues, calling this place a 4-star hotel seems a stretch.
